DOTD announces closure of U.S. 90 in St. Mary Parish for filming

MORGAN CITY, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that U.S. 90, over the Atchafalaya River, will be closed to traffic for approximately 30 minutes on Thursday, May 15, Friday, May 16, or Saturday, May 17, for the filming of the movie “The Best of Me”.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to film stunt scenes involving explosions at the International Petroleum Museum Oil Rig.
DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may have to the traveling public.
