Closures Planned for I-10 in Metairie

Metairie, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces lane and ramp closures this week while crews pave the roadway.
Monday, May 12 through Thursday, May 15, between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.:
· Alternating double lane closures on I-10 westbound, between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
· The I-10 westbound exit-ramp to Veterans Memorial Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Clearview Parkway.
Monday, May 12, Tuesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 15, between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.:
· The Clearview Parkway on-ramp to I-10 westbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Veterans Memorial Boulevard for entry to I-10 westbound.
One lane of I-10 westbound traffic will remain open at all times.
Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 14, between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.:
· Alternating double lane closures on I-10 eastbound, between Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Clearview Parkway.
· The Veterans Memorial Boulevard on-ramp to I-10 eastbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Clearview Parkway for entry to I-10 eastbound.
· The I-10 eastbound exit-ramp to Clearview Parkway will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Causeway Boulevard.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through this and other highway work zones. Also, be alert for the presence of construction workers and equipment.
