LA 437 Turn Lane

The Southbound and Northbound lanes of LA 437 will be reduced to one lane approximately one (1) mile south of the intersection of LA 40 (Bush-Folsom Road) and LA 437 (Lee Road), near Fitzgerald Lane. Construction will begin on May 12, 2014 and lanes will be intermittently closed until July 12, 2014. There will be no lane closures allowed between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on school days.
A contractor working for the Parish will be installing drainage and widening the roadway for a new turn lane into Dollar General Store, weather permitting. ONE LANE WILL REMAIN OPEN AT ALL TIMES.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid possible delays, motorists traveling Northbound on LA 437 can take LA 1081 Northbound to the intersection of LA 437. Motorists traveling Southbound on LA 437 can take LA 1081 Southbound to the intersection of LA 437 Southbound.
