The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Thursday May 15, 2014 at 10:00 PM, construction work will begin on the entry and exit ramps of US 167 (Pineville Expressway) between US 165 and the Purple Heart Bridge. The work will consist of Concrete Pavement Patching, Pavement crack sealing, and related work. The construction is expected to last approximately four months. Alternating temporary lane and ramp closures in both directions can be expected throughout the length of the project. Daytime closures will only occur during the weekends.

The first portion of work will begin on the entry ramp connecting US 165 (Monroe Hwy) to the US 167 Southbound Roadway (Pineville Expressway) in Kingsville, LA (in front of K-Mart). The ramp will be temporarily closed on the evening of Thursday May 8, 2014 from 10:00PM through 5:00AM of Friday, May 9, 2014. The ramp will be closed again on Friday May 9, 2014 beginning at 10:00 PM and ending on Monday May 12, 2014 at 5:00AM
