La 20 Drainage Canal Bridge- Lafourche

The Drainage Canal Bridge on LA Hwy. 20, 4.7 miles north of the JCT LA 20/LA 308, and 1.1 miles south of the JCT LA 20/LA 304 will be closed to vehicular thru traffic from 8:00 a.m. on Monday May 5, 2014 until Friday May 9, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in order to allow LADOTD bridge repair crews to perform repairs to the timber substructure of the bridge.
Detour route(s) around the closure are as follows:
LA 20 south to LA 308; LA 308 north to LA 304; LA 304 east to LA 20.
LA 20 north to LA 304; LA 304 west to LA 308; LA 308 south to LA 20.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
