Sale Road Bridge Replacement Project

LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces an update on the $5 million project to reconstruct Sale Road Bridge from Holly Hill Road to Canal Street.

The contractor is currently completing dirt work and is installing some sewer and drainage pipe. The project has experienced some delay due to utility conflicts and adverse weather conditions.

At this time, the estimated completion of phase I is summer 2014.
