EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE - EXTENDED
US 51 NB, Lane Closure, Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish
DOTD announces that the City of Hammond has requested a right lane closure on US 51 NB between Western Ave. and LA 3224 (University Ave.) effective immediately and ending Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., for sewer repairs.
Detour: Northbound motorist may travel west on US 190 to I-55 Northbound to LA 3224 Eastbound (Exit 32 University Ave.) back to US 51.
There will be no restrictions on oversize loads at this time.
LA DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
