US 190, St. Tammany Parish, Road Closure,
Norfolk Southern Railroad Work



Both directions of US 190 (Gause Boulevard) will be closed beginning Saturday morning April 12, 2014 at 4:00 AM until Monday morning, April 14, 2014 at 4:00 AM while crews remove the old railroad tracks and place new railroad tracks and new asphalt. The closure is immediately west of the intersection of US 190 and US 11 at the railroad track crossing in Slidell.

Permit/Detour Section
Westbound vehicles on US 190 may turn left to travel south on US 11, and then turn right on LA 433 to travel west/north to US 190. Eastbound vehicles on US 190 may turn right to travel south/east of LA 433, and then turn left on US 11 to travel north. Detour signs will be posted to mark the route.
