This road is now open. Work completed.
This is to advise that on Monday, April 14, 2014, beginning at 8:30 a.m., the LA 2 Bridge over Jeems Bayou, in Caddo Parish, near Trees, approximately 2.26 miles south of junction LA 1, will be closed for four (4) days for piling repairs.
Alternate Route: TOTAL BRIDGE CLOSURE.
ALL vehicles must detour using LA 1 to Texas 77 to Texas 43 to Texas 49 to LA 2.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
