US 190, Livingston, Notice of Upcoming Construction, S.P. H.009263
US 190, at its junction with LA 449, will be under construction beginning Monday, April 14, 2014. Please be prepared for intermittent delays due to single lane closures with flagging operations beginning on Monday, April 14, 2014 (weather permitting). No lane closures will be allowed from 6am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm Monday through Friday. These lane closures are necessary while crews perform asphalt patching, widening, paving and other related work necessary to construct a left turn lane on US 190.
This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions. To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 447 to I-12 to LA 63 to US 190 as an alternate route.
