UPDATE: LA 34, Ouachita Parish

LA 34 (Stella Street), in Ouachita Parish, approximately 0.01 miles east of KCS Railroad to approximately 0.02 miles west of Interstate 20, construction crews continue to work at the intersection of Old Natchitoches Road installing a turn lane.
Between the hours of 7am and 7pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014, the eastbound lane of Old Natchitoches will be limited to right turns only. The outside lane closure on LA 34 westbound will remain in place during the day time work hours until further notice.
Detour / Permit:
The outside lane closure will allow vehicles 12 feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using westbound Interstate 20 to LA 617 exit south to LA 34.
