DOTD announces intermittent lane closures on Interstate 10 for restriping

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that on Tuesday, April 1, Interstate 10 will have intermittent lane closures, between its junction with I-49 and the Whisky Bay overpass, to allow crews to restripe the interstate, weather permitting.

The intermittent lane closures will take place along I-10 in the east and westbound directions over the next four months during the following times.

Eastbound:

• Monday night until Thursday morning, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• Thursday night until Friday morning, 8 p.m. - 7 am
• Friday night until Saturday morning, 9 p.m. until 9 a.m.
• Saturday night until Sunday morning, 8 p.m. until 10 a.m.
• Sunday night until Monday morning, 9 p.m. until 7 a.m.

Westbound:

• Monday night until Friday morning, 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.
• Friday night until Saturday morning, 8 p.m. until 9 a.m.
• Saturday night until Sunday morning, 7 p.m. until 10 a.m.
• Sunday night until Monday morning, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
