US 51 Road Closure, 2.5 Miles North of LA 440 @ Button Creek, Tangipahoa Parish
US 51, 2.5 miles north of LA 440, the road will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 and will continue until Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 5:00 a.m., while crews replace box culverts at Button Creek.
PERMIT/DETOUR INFORMATION:
Northbound motorists may take LA 440 and travel West to I-55, then North to Exit 61 (LA 38), then East on LA 38 to re-intersect with US 51.
Southbound motorists may take LA 38 and travel West to I-55, then travel South to Exit 57 (LA 440), then East on LA 440 to re-intersect with US 51.
