US 167 Meeker; Rapides Parish

Mile Post 92.720; Control Section 057-08

The LA DOTD advises the public that US 167 Meeker, Rapides Parish, will be closed from US 71 to LA 456.  The work will be done at Milepost 92.720 and is on Control Section 057-08.  The closure will be on Friday, November 09, 2012 from 7:00 AM till 5:00 PM.  The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the track panel and crossing surface thru the crossing. 

Permit/Detour section

The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be US 167 South to I-49 North to LA 112 East to US 71 South to US 167.  The detour can accept oversized loads.  The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public.  All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
