US 190: LA 22-Lonesome Road Widening – State Project No. H.000498
MANDEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces an update on the project to widen U.S. Highway 190 from La. 22 to Lonesome Road in St. Tammany Parish, an $11.3 million capacity improvement project.
Over the past three weeks, work performed includes the following.
• Installing base at west end of the bridge in preparation of curb and gutter.
• Night work installing drainage at Meadow Brook crossing; half complete.
• Excavating dirt for retaining wall extension near Cherry Creek.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
