LA 127 in Winn Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on February 20th, 2014 Construction will begin on LA 127 in Winn Parish. This work will begin at the Caldwell Parish Line on LA 127 and proceed 5.5 Miles to the intersection of LA1238.
The intent of this project is to patch, cold plane and overlay the existing roadway with 3.5” of Superpave Asphaltic Concrete. On Thursday February 20th, patching will begin on LA 127 from LA1238 to the Caldwell Parish Line. LA 127 will remain open to thru traffic, but temporary lane closures and the stopping of traffic should be expected.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Diamond B Construction Co., in the amount of $1,677,173.00. The work associated with this project should take approximately 50 working days to complete.

Thru traffic will be maintained at all times.
