Hamburg Road Bridge; Avoyelles Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Monday, February 24, 2014 construction will begin in Avoyelles Parish on Hamburg Road Bridge over Bayou Des Glaises. The intent of this project is to remove the existing timber bridge and replace it with a concrete quad beam bridge.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Cecil D. Gassiott, LLC in the amount of $880,603.73.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. There will not be a detour associated with this closure. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
