The Department of Transportation and Development District 08 Office in Alexandria advises the public that JACKSON STREET BRIDGE WILL BE OPENED EFFECTIVE 4:00P.M. TODAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2014 . ALL STATE AND FEDERAL ROADS IN DISTRICT 08 ARE NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC.
DOTD appreciates your cooperation during this past winter weather event.
DOTD urges motorists to continue to use extra caution when traveling on roadways today as there still may be locations with isolated ice buildup.
