The Department of Transportation and Development District 08 Office in Alexandria advises that I-49 between Exit 80 [MacArthur Drive] and Exit 94 [Rapides Station] in Rapides Parish is NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC, effective 1:00 p.m., February 12, 2014.
DOTD urges motorists to continue to use extra caution when traveling on roadways today as there still may be locations with isolated ice buildup.
