DOTD announces closure of Judge Seeber (Claiborne Ave.) Bridge to complete repairs

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge will be closed in both directions to vehicular traffic on Sunday, January 12, from 6 a.m.-6 p.m., to complete bridge repairs.

 

During the closure, contractors will install newly fabricated parts, guide rails and bearings that were damaged during bridge operation as reported two weeks ago. Motorists should use Interstate 510, St. Claude or Florida Avenues as an alternate route.
