DOTD announces service hours for CCCD ferries for Saints Super Bowl parade

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that services at the Gretna/Canal Street, Algiers Point/Canal Street and Lower Algiers Point/Chalmette ferries will be adjusted on Tuesday, Feb. 9 in anticipation of the large crowds attending the Saints Super Bowl parade.

The hours for the parade are as follows:

Gretna/Canal Street: Service will begin with the first trips of the day at 1:30 p.m. from Gretna and 2 p.m. from Canal Street. The final trips of the day will be 11:30 p.m. from Gretna and midnight from Canal Street.

Algiers Point/Canal Street: Service will begin as normal, with the first trips of the day at 6 a.m. from Algiers Point and 6:15 a.m. from Canal Street. The final trips of the day will be midnight from Algiers Point and 12:15 a.m. from Canal Street.

Lower Algiers Point/Chalmette: Service will begin as normal, with the first trips of the day at 6 a.m. from Lower Algiers Point and 6:15 a.m. from Chalmette. The final trips of the day will be at 8:30 p.m. from Lower Algiers Point and 8:45 p.m. from Chalmette.
