I-10 Widening Project lane closure update

Westbound I-10 in Baton Rouge from Pecue Lane to the I-10 / I-12 split will be reduced to one lane of thru traffic from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning while crews work on embankment and the removal of the existing I-10 westbound overpass over Siegen and Bluebonnet.

 

Eastbound I-10 in Baton Rouge from Essen Lane to Pecue Lane will be reduced to one lane of thru traffic from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning while crews work on embankment and the removal of the existing I-10 eastbound overpass over Bluebonnet and Siegen.

 

Northbound and Southbound Bluebonnet at the I-10 overpass will be reduced to one lane of thru traffic in each direction from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning while crews work to remove existing concrete from the I-10 overpass.

 

Northbound and Southbound Siegen Lane at the I-10 overpass will be reduced to one lane of thru traffic in each direction from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning while crews work to remove existing concrete from the I-10 overpass.

 

 

ALL OF THE ABOVE CLOSURES WILL BE IN PLACE EVERY NIGHT BEGINNING SUNDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 1 THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 5 (ENDING FRIDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 6).

 

These closures will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zones.  The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using US 61 Airline Highway Sorrento Exit to I-12 Westbound to I-10.
