BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $115 million at its Sept. 30 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Secretary William D. Ankner, Ph.D.

With a bid of $41,626,832.18, T.J. Lambrecht Construction Inc., Joliet, Ill., was the low bidder on the most expensive job let Sept. 30, a project in Caddo Parish calling for installing drainage pipe, asphalt overlay, concrete overlay, installing concrete slab span bridges and related work on I-49 North from U.S. 71 South to La. 2.
