DOTD announces closures for railroad bridge project

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Continuing its preparation projects for the upcoming Super Bowl, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the following scheduled overnight closures for the ongoing New Orleans Terminal Railroad Bridge project.

 

I-10 Eastbound from Mile Marker 233-232 by I-10 & I-610 split at the R/R crossing

 

·         Friday, January 11, I-10 Eastbound – Lane closure, left lane, 10 p.m. – 10 a.m.

·         Saturday, January 12, I-10 Eastbound – Left lane will be closed through Monday, January 14 from 8 p.m. – 5:30 a.m., continuously

·         Monday, January 14: I-10 Eastbound – Lane closures, center & right lanes, 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

·         Tuesday, January 15: I-10 Eastbound – Lane closures, center & right lanes, 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

·         Wednesday, January 16: I-10 Eastbound – Lane closures, center & right lanes, 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

·         Thursday, January 17: I-10 Eastbound – Lane closures, center & right lanes, 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

 

I-10 Westbound from Mile Marker 232.5 to Mile Marker 231.5 (R.R. Terminal Overpass)

·         Saturday, January 12, I-10 Westbound – Left lane will be closed through Monday, January 14 from 8 p.m. – 5:30 a.m., continuously

·         Monday, January 14: I-10 Westbound – Lane closures, center & left lanes, 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

·         Tuesday, January 15: I-10 Westbound – Lane closures, center & left lanes, 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

·         Wednesday, January 16: I-10 Westbound – Lane closures, center & left lanes, 8:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

·         Thursday, January 17: I-10 Westbound – Lane closures, center & left lanes, 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

 

All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
