The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will hold an Open House Public Meeting at the following time and place:

Thursday, July 26, 2012
3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The proposed widening of this portion of LA 616 from two lanes to five lanes was approved as an Environmental Assessment with Finding of No Significant Impact in June 2010. In conjunction with the widening, DOTD is proposing construction of seven roundabouts along LA 616 at the intersections of Wallace Dean Road, Forty Oaks Farm Road, Wallace Road, Dean Chapel Road, Good Hope Road, Kiroli Road, and LA 617(Warren Drive). Additional right-of-way and additional relocations will be required.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the proposed roundabouts and obtain input from interested parties. DOTD representatives will be present to answer questions, including information about acquisition of right-of-way and relocation assistance. A continuous presentation will be shown. Verbal comments may be recorded and written comments will be accepted. Written statements can also be mailed to the address shown below. Statements postmarked within 10 days of this meeting will become part of the transcript of the meeting.
