ROAD CLOSURE: LA 177, DeSoto Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, a portion of LA 177 in DeSoto Parish will be closed.
This closure is located approximately 0.78 miles south of I-49, and is necessary to allow Dolet Hills Lignite Company to remove the conveyor structure that crosses LA 177.
This operation is scheduled to take place from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
