DOTD to host hiring event for Mobile Equipment Operators

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that it will be hosting a hiring event for Mobile Equipment Operators on Friday, May 12, 2023. The event will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at DOTD’s Lafayette district office at 228 Rue des Voyages in Lafayette.
The job positions available are located throughout Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion parishes. No experience is required for these positions and on-site interviews will be conducted until vacancies are filled. Any candidate selected will receive a conditional job offer while at the event. Candidates receiving a conditional job offer must have a driver’s license and a Social Security card.
