*UPDATE*
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Southbound LA-1 south of the Intracoastal will have a traffic switch onto a new diversion road that will begin the night of November 11th, 2022.
The traffic switch is necessary to move traffic away from the work area so construction of drainage structures and the new road for the new Southbound LA-1 Bridge can be completed.
