In honor of Aviation Week, August 17-23, the LADOTD Aviation Section encourages you to join us in celebrating our passion for aviation with many activities at airports around the state This is a perfect opportunity to share our enthusiasm and devotion for aviation with our fellow aviators as well as express to our local communities the importance of aviation in Louisiana. Below are just a few of the events that DOTD has been notified of.
The LADOTD Aviation Section will have an educational and informational booth setup at each of the facilities listed below. We invite you to visit our booth to learn more about the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Aviation Section, our statewide aviation art contest, our statewide system of airports, and Louisiana's aviation colleges and universities. We will have airport directories, aeronautical charts and LADOTD Aviation planes for the kids. Please contact your local airport manager for additional details.
