ROAD CLOSURE: LA 584, Richland Parish
UPDATE: (9/30/2022) This roadway has been reopended to traffic. Construction activities continue and there will be flagging operations over the next several weeks with asphalt and traffic marking operations.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, August 10, at 8:00 a.m., LA 584 from the intersection of LA 135 east toward Thomason Lane is currently closed.
This closure is due to construction activities for 0.85 miles of LA 584 and is expected to last approximately one month.
Alternate Route: Detour signage along US 425 and LA 135 will be in place.
Permits/Restrictions: Total road closure. All vehicles will need to detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
