UPDATE: This closure has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, weather permitting.
US 90 Business (LA 182) will be closed in the eastbound and westbound directions approximately 500 ft east of Lake Palourde Bypass Road (Duhon Blvd) beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11 until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform necessary drainage improvements.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the work area.
The detour route for westbound traffic is LA 662, US 90 and Lake Palourde Bypass Road. The detour route for eastbound traffic is Lake Palourde Bypass Road, US 90, and LA 662.
Local traffic will have access to the area during construction but will not be able to cross the closed area.
