I-10 WB from Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) to Exit 103 (I-49), Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure
Thursday, May 05, 2022 at 4:20:40 PM
The outside lane of I-10 westbound, from Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) to Exit 103B (I-49 North), will be closed from Tuesday, May 10 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to repair overhead signs.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2022.
