Please be aware of these LA 68 closures near LA 10.

Closures will begin at 7:30 AM on the first day of the closure and will re-open at 5:30 PM on the last day of the closure.

Period 1 (09/21/11 – 09/27/11) – Roadway will be closed from LA 963 south to LA 10.  The work in this area includes 2 – 30 inch arch crossings, a triple 48 inch crossing and a 7X7 foot box culvert crossing.

Period 2 (09/28/11 – 09/29/11) – Roadway will be closed between LA 963 and LA 19.  This area includes a 24 inch arch crossing.

Period 3 (10/03/11 -10/07/11) - Roadway will be closed between LA 963 and LA 19.  This closure will be in town of Wilson and will be a north closure.  The work in this area includes 18 inch extensions, a 24 inch crossing, a 72 inch crossing and 24 inch side drains.

Traffic will be rerouted to LA 10, LA 19, and LA 963 as needed to avoid the closures.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.  Due to inclement weather and other unforeseen complications, the road closure on LA 68 could be extended.
