Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 12:55:39 PM

Bayou Patout Bridge work is ongoing, with completion expected in early 2012. The total removal of the old bridge will happen in February/March 2012.

Ongoing Work:

Crews continue to construct the operator’s house as well as the installation of the machinery and electrical equipment. The work on the two end deck-spans and approach slabs continues. Also, the marine fender system is being installed. This fender system will protect the bridge foundation from marine traffic.
