On Sunday, August 28, from 3 am – 7pm. I-10 westbound will be closed at Causeway for the installation of girders.  Traffic will be diverted through the Causeway exit.

All I-10 West traffic will be forced to exit at Causeway.  The exit contains two lanes. I-10 west traffic will use the left lane to return to I-10 west via the collector road.  The right lane leads to Veterans and North Causeway. 

The I-10 west on-ramp at Bonnabel will also be closed.  Veterans and Bonnabel traffic should detour west on Veterans and enter I-10 west at the temporary Severn entrance or at Clearview.

All Causeway Blvd on/off ramps will remain open.

Heavy delays are expected and drivers are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes: 

I-610 West: Detour to I-10 east to US-61 North (Airline Dr.), to Clearview North, to I-10 West.

I-10 West:  Detour to US-61 North (Airline Dr.), to Clearview North, to I-10 West.

Additional closers will take place on the following nights:

I-10 west reduced to one lane nightly, Monday, Aug 29 – Thursday, Sept 1. 10pm – 6am.

I-10 west on-ramp at Bonnabel closed, Wed, Aug 31 & Thurs, Sept 1. 10pm – 6am.

No vehicle restrictions.
