I-10 Widening from Veterans to Clearview update

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will hold an open house meeting to discuss the upcoming I-10 from Clearview to Veterans widening project located in Metairie, LA.

The meeting will be held at the Memorial Baptist Church, 5701 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, LA, on Tuesday, October 4 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

This open house style meeting will allow the public to learn more about the project and to sign-up to receive periodic e-mail updates. Representatives from DOTD will be in attendance to provide information on the project and answer questions. Additionally, attendees will receive information about other projects in the area.

This construction project will widen 1.2 miles of I-10 from three to five lanes in each direction between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Boulevard. The project will include ramp and bridge improvements to accommodate the widening as well as a sound wall along this segment.
