Alternating Lane Closures on I-10 EB & WB - Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-10 eastbound and westbound will have alternating lane closures from Milepost 28.7 (Calcasieu River Bridge) to Milepost 33.5 (Kayouche Coulee) beginning Sunday, April 03 at 08:00 pm and ending Thursday, April 07 at 05:00 am.
Eastbound alternating lane closures from Milepost 28.7 (Calcasieu River Bridge) to Milepost 33.5 (Kayouche Coulee) are scheduled as follows:
- Sunday, April 03 from 08:00 PM until Monday, April 04 at 05:00 AM
- Monday, April 04 from 08:00 PM until Tuesday, April 05 at 05:00 AM
Westbound alternating lane closures from Milepost 33.5 (Kayouche Coulee) to Milepost 28.7 (Calcasieu River Bridge) are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, April 05 from 08:00 PM until Wednesday, April 06 at 05:00 AM
- Wednesday, April 06 from 08:00 PM until Thursday, April 07 at 05:00 AM
This closure is necessary for pavement repair in preparation of high friction surface treatment.
