NOW OPEN: LA 589 near Pioneer in West Carroll Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 589 NEAR PIONEER HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
Effective immediately, LA 589, near Pioneer in West Carroll Parish will be closed at approximately 1.00 mile east of LA 582. This closure is required due to the deterioration of a cross drain under the roadway.
This section of the road will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, so that necessary repairs can be made.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
