I-10 EB & WB from Exit 103 (I-49) to MM 105, Lafayette Parish, Alternating Lane Closures
Friday, March 11, 2022 at 7:46:13 AM
I-10, in both eastbound & westbound directions, from Exit 103 (I-49 Interchange) to MM 105, will have nightly, alternating lane closures as follows, weather permitting.

• Monday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, March 15 at 6:00 a.m.

• Tuesday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 a.m.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to repair bridge joints for the Louisiana Avenue overpass bridges.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in spring 2022
