Marksville Sidewalk Improvements
Avoyelles Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, March 14, 2022, portions of the following Marksville City Streets will experience temporary lane closures: W. Bon Tempts St., Lee St., W. Waddil St., Vettas St., W. Mark St., and Tarleton St. This project consists of clearing and grubbing, concrete sidewalks, handicap ramps, pedestrian bridge, and related work. Construction is expected to be completed by August 2022.
This contract was awarded to JD’s Rebar & Construction, Inc. in the amount of $545,289.06.
Permit/Detour section
All lane closures associated with this project will occur on Marksville City Streets. There are no lane closures or detours associated with any state routes at this time.
