Update: Alternating lane closures extended along LA 23

Alternating lane closures will continue on LA 23 between Timber Ridge Drive and Engineers Road as crews prepare to widen the southbound lanes.
Work will resume on Wednesday, March 2 through Thursday, March 3, 2022, as crews install temporary striping which will shift lanes towards the median. All work is expected to take two days, weather permitting.
The widening project is in preparation for the new Belle Chasse Bridge.
