Ramp Closure: I-20 WB On Ramp from Calypso St in Ouachita Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the I-20 WB On Ramp from Calypso St in Monroe, Ouachita Parish will be permanently CLOSED effective Wednesday, March 2, 2022. A traffic engineering study was conducted and LA DOTD recently received approval from the Federal Highway Administration to move forward with the closure.
DOTD reminds motorists that it is unsafe and unlawful to drive onto a closed road past a “road closed” barricade at any time for any reason.
