LANE CLOSURE (ST. JAMES PARISH) - There will be a westbound lane closure on HWY 70 across the Sunshine Bridge from HWY 44 to HWY 18.

This closure will begin Tuesday, March 8, 2022 until Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM daily.

This closure is necessary to repair a cox communication fiber optic cable crossing that is attached to the Sunshine Bridge.

Permit loads over 11’ should call the permit office for alternate routes.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
