NOW OPEN: LA 591 (Old Berlin Hwy) near Arkansas/Louisiana line in Morehouse Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 591 (OLD BERLIN HWY) HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
Effective immediately, LA 591 (Old Berlin Hwy), near Arkansas/Louisiana line in Morehouse Parish will be closed at approximately 1.00 mile north of LA 834. This closure is required due to the deterioration of a cross drain under the roadway.
This section of the road will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, so that necessary repairs can be made.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
