I-12 @ US 190 – Ramp Closures – Project #: H.011152 – St. Tammany - UPDATE
Update: US 190 SB to I-12 Eastbound on-ramp is OPEN on Friday night, March 4, 2022.
On Wednesday night, March 2, 2022 through Thursday night, March 3, 2022, and Saturday night, March 5, 2022, the US 190 SB to I-12 Eastbound on-ramp will have nightly full ramp closures from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to perform asphalt operations and shift traffic.
On Sunday night, March 6, 2022, the US 190 NB to I-12 Eastbound on-ramp will experience a full ramp closure from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to shift traffic.
On Monday night, March 7, 2022, the I-12 Westbound off-ramp to US 190 SB will experience a full ramp closure from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is for crews to shift traffic.
Motorists and emergency vehicles will NOT have ramp access to the above listed ramps during these days/hours.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling on US 190 SB wishing to enter I-12 EB may continue south on US 190, transition to US 190 West at Judge Tanner Blvd./Fairway Dr., and follow signs for I-12 Eastbound (to Slidell).
Motorists traveling on US 190 NB wishing to enter I-12 EB may continue north on US 190, make a legal U-turn, transition to US 190 SB and follow signs for I-12 Eastbound (to Slidell).
Motorists traveling on I-12 WB wishing to exit on US 190 SB (Exit 63A) may take Exit 63B and continue north on US 190, make a legal U-turn and transition to US 190 SB.
