***UPDATE Starting 2/18/22*** LA 10 East, 1 mile East of US 61 will have one lane open 24hrs a day with temporary traffic signals directing two-way traffic through the closure.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
***UPDATE Starting 2/15/22*** LA 10 East, 1 mile East of US 61 will have one lane open with flagmen directing traffic daily during the hours of 6:30 AM- 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM. If there is fog or rain during these hours, this site will remain closed to traffic. The road will be closed to traffic except during the hours stated above when flagmen will be present.
LA 10 East, West Feliciana Parish, will be closed 1 mile east of US 61 in the vicinity of Rosedown Baptist Church.
This emergency road closure is due to a failing roadway.
Alternate Route: LA 965
DOTD will advise when the road has been reopened and deemed safe for travel.
