HWY 44 (ASCENSION PARISH) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation advises motorist that there will be a northbound lane closures and a southbound lane closures on Hwy 44 near Hwy 30, beginning Saturday, February 12, 2022 until Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

The two southbound lanes will be closed on Saturday, February 12, 2022 and the two northbound lanes will be closed Sunday, February 13, 2022. One lane in each direction will remain open throughout the closure.

The lane closure is necessary to repair drainage crossing Hwy 44.

No detour routes or width restrictions are necessary for this closure.
