NOW OPEN: LA 822 near Mineral Springs in Lincoln Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 822 NEAR MINERAL SPRINGS HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, LA 822 near Mineral Springs in Lincoln Parish, will be closed approximately 3.3 miles east of US 167 to make necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge repairs are anticipated to be complete Thursday, March 3, 2022.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour
The detour route will be LA 822, LA 33, LA 3072 and US 167.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
