Cause Lane Closure Update
The following lane closures will take place on Causeway Blvd. and Veterans Blvd. in Metairie for bridge construction.
Northbound Causeway / Southbound Causeway Bridge closed over I-10 and Northbound Causeway to Westbound I-10 Bridge closed.
*Sunday, June 12, 8pm – 5am
Detours:
*Northbound Causeway traffic should detour Right to Bonnabel Blvd. using the Northbound Causeway to East I-10 on ramp.
*Southbound Causeway traffic should detour right onto 17th Street then to Severn Ave. Traffic from Southbound Causeway will be able to access ground -level Southbound Causeway to Veterans Blvd.
Right Lane Closed at Westbound Veterans and Eastbound Veterans
Monday, June 13, thru Friday, June 17, 9am – 3pm.
Detours:
*Traffic on Westbound Veterans and Eastbound Veterans should expect delays but will be able to continue to flow in both directions.
Single lane closed at Westbound Veterans plus Veterans Median at Causeway and ground -level Southbound Causeway next to Macy’s.
*Wednesday June 15, 9pm – 5am
*Thursday June 16, 9pm – 5am
Detours:
*Ground - level Southbound traffic to Veterans should detour right at 17th Street then left on Severn Ave.
*Westbound Veterans traffic to Southbound Causeway or Eastbound I-10 should make U-turn at Severn onto Eastbound Veterans.
*Westbound I-10 on- ramp at Severn Ave.\ North I-10 Service Road will be accessible.
