*UPDATE*LA 417, Pointe Coupee Parish, Emergency Road Closure

**LA 417 IS NOW OPEN**
La 417 is closed, effective immediately, over Bayou Latanache near the intersection of LA 973 in Coon, La. This closure is in effect due to a collapsing cross drain pipe. This route is closed until further notice. The public will be notified once repairs are made and the route is deemed safe for passage.
The motoring public is asked to use an alternate route.
